What attracted me to Euclid, says Rogers, is its great location, access the lake, affordable housing, and its close sense of community. I work in home healthcare and having such easy access to all parts of Northeast Ohio is truly convenient.

Agnes Turk, a Euclid resident in her eighties, has lived in the city for 51 years. We moved to Euclid in 1956, Turk relates. "I worked in downtown Cleveland and my husband worked for Euclid Provision on Shore Center Drive here in Euclid. We were attracted to the great setting Euclid is to raise a family and the opportunities it offered our children for a better education." Asked if she ever considered moving, Turk replies: "I've never considered moving. My church is on the corner; there's public transportation for when I can't drive; I'm close to the Lake; there's Euclid Hospital down the street. Everything I need is here, so I've never considered leaving.
