Euclid Partners Teaming Up for Student Expo and Job Fair

The Euclid Chamber of Commerce has teamed up with the Euclid City Schools, the City of Euclid, Chamber members, local businesses and the new Euclid Works Board to hold the first Euclid Works Student Expo and Job Fair. The event will be held on March 8th at Euclid High School, 711 East 222nd Street.
The purpose of this event is two-fold: to develop our future workforce and to fill open positions immediately with local talent. The day will begin with Euclid High School seniors participating in an expo. Students will have the opportunity to meet various local employers and learn about in demand careers and training opportunities. From 2:30 – 4:30 pm, the doors will open to the public for a job fair.

“We hear from our Chamber members about their need for skilled workers and we are committed to doing our part to help. While they have immediate needs, we recognize this needs a long-term solution and this Student Expo and Job Fair is a step in the right direction,” stated Sheila Gibbons, Executive Director of the Euclid Chamber of Commerce.

The public is invited to attend the Job Fair from 2:30 – 4:30 pm and meet with employers from: Vector Technical, the HELP Foundation, Dollar Bank, Euclid City Schools, City of Euclid, Minute Men Staffing Services, Hose Master, Cleveland Clinic-Euclid, Gateway Retirement Community, Braeview Care & Rehabilitation, Tylok International, Radix Wire, Wm Sopko & Sons, Moore Counseling & Mediation Services, Cuyahoga Community College, LaParaDe Early Learning Center, and Stamco Industries.

Parking will be available by the Euclid Board of Education and the Euclid Public Library. The Job Fair will be held in the gymnasium and can be accessed at the North entrance facing 222nd Street.
